Women's Challenge Espoirs under consideration, modelled on men's

The Ligue féminine de football professionnel is considering a women's Challenge Espoirs, following the men's competition introduced for the 2025-2026 season.

According to L'Équipe, the planned event would mirror the men's model.

Its aim would be to give playing time to young players already integrated into the professional squads of Arkema Première Ligue and Seconde Ligue clubs.

On the men's side, eligibility covers categories from U18 to U23.

For the women's game, the proposal remains under study.
