Women’s football: academy coaches for 2026/27

FC Porto has already appointed the coaches in charge of its women’s youth teams for the 2026/27 season.

José Moreira will take charge of the B team, which will compete in the Third Division for the first time. At 28, the coach from Ermesinde already has seven seasons of experience in Leixões SC’s youth setup.

Sara Pereira will remain in charge of the under-19s after leading the B team to victory in the National Fourth Division Championship and the junior team to the Second Division title.

Cátia Hora will be the new under-17 coach, returning to FC Porto after serving as assistant coach of Rio Ave’s first team in the Liga BPI. In the 2024/25 season, the 38-year-old coach was part of Porto’s under-19 coaching staff.
