Wow. A Chelsea journalist has gone IN on the club this afternoon off the back of the 5-2 defeat to PSG last night.
Chelsea were crushed in the final 15 minutes of the game as they imploded after goalkeeper and defensive mistakes. Until then, they were very much in the game at 2-2 and went toe-to-toe with the French giants.

However, it’s just another reminder of the inconsistencies this Chelsea team have and that they are not anywhere near where they want to be yet, despite winning the Club World Cup in the summer. They key is consistency, and they have none of that.
Matt Law of The Telegraph, is a Chelsea reporter and insider, and he has written something very strong on the club today.

In a quote taken from his latest article on the Telegraph website today, Law said:
“World champions? You’re having a laugh. Chelsea are not even the best team in London right now.
“For all of the bravado and big talk, Chelsea find themselves in exactly the same position as the club they love to laugh at – Tottenham.”
He went on to say that Chelsea need to remove their Club World Cup winners badge off their shirts.
He posted on X alongside his article:
“The first change Chelsea should make for next season is to remove the Club World Cup winners’ badge from their shirts. That would be a start to crushing a culture of arrogance.”
Liam Rosenior refused to take the blame for using Jorgensen saying that “players make mistakes.” It’s true, but we could have told you who was going to make this mistake if you picked him today.
Rosenior has also noted his own failings in the game to some degree in terms of game management. He looked a little like a rabbit in the spotlight at times yesterday evening.
