On Monday night, the Dutch officially booked their ticket for the 2026 World Cup with a commanding victory over Lithuania (4-0). After the match, Ronald Koeman spoke passionately about the Oranje's prospects in the tournament.

"I don't see many countries that are clearly better than us. We've proved it twice this spring against Spain," declared the former midfielder during the press conference. As a reminder, the Netherlands and the other nations qualified for the 2026 World Cup will discover their group stage opponents on December 5, during the official draw.
