David arrives at this tie in red-hot form, his hat-trick against Qatar in the group stage having dragged Canada into the last 32 and answered the critics who questioned a quiet debut season in Turin.

He spearheads the attack alongside Tani Oluwaseyi and Tajon Buchanan, the latter a former Inter player who won the Serie A title with the Nerazzurri in 2023/24 before moving on to Villarreal.
