World Cup 2026: Ticket prices leak sparks outrage
The 2026 World Cup, set to take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, hasn't even kicked off yet but is already at the center of controversy. The reason? The leaked ticket prices for various phases of the tournament, with many fans calling them outrageously high.
According to circulating reports, the cheapest tickets will go for $60 for certain group stage matches in Monterrey and Guadalajara (Mexico). But prices skyrocket as soon as the knockout rounds begin, such as:

However, FIFA could implement dynamic pricing, as was the case at the last Club World Cup: prices may fluctuate based on demand and, most importantly, the teams involved. Back then, the governing body was forced to lower some prices to avoid half-empty stadiums.
