The 23rd edition of the FIFA World Cup is just around the corner and the squads that will take part in the tournament have been announced. The 2026 World Cup, which will be held across the United States, Mexico and Canada, will feature seven Inter players representing seven different nations. The group stage of the tournament will begin on 11 June, with the opening match between Mexico and South Africa, and will conclude on 28 June, while the final is scheduled for 19 July at MetLife Stadium in New York at 21:00 Italian time. Before the start of the competition, the teams will be involved in friendly matches, which will also feature two further Inter players with their respective national sides. The nine players are: Lautaro Martinez (Argentina), Marcus Thuram (France), Manuel Akanji (Switzerland), Denzel Dumfries (The Netherlands), Hakan Calhanoglu (Türkiye), Petar Sucic (Croatia), Ange-Yoan Bonny (Ivory Coast), Francesco Pio Esposito (Italy), Piotr Zielinski (Poland).
