Indeed, Algerian football legend Lakhdar Belloumi praised the Greens’ qualification for the 2026 World Cup after their commanding 3-0 victory over Somalia, stressing that the most important goal has now been achieved.
"Qualification matters more than the result. The opponent was respectable, but what counts is that the team is ready to face the challenges of the World Cup," he stated.
The former Gijón hero also emphasized the need for coach Vladimir Petkovic to
