Paris Saint-Germain arrived in Salzburg on Tuesday with their World Cup returnees for Wednesday's UEFA Super Cup against Aston Villa. The European champions beat Arsenal 1-1, 4-3 on penalties in Budapest on 30 May.
According to L'Équipe, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Bradley Barcola, new signings Lucas Digne and Maghnes Akliouche, plus world champion Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi, are available to start or come on.
PSG trained at RB Salzburg's ground on Tuesday evening in 30-degree heat, with president Nasser al-Khelaïfi and sporting adviser Luis Campos watching. Enrique must handle workloads carefully before the Trophée des Champions in Lens on Sunday.
The session featured a giant rondo with three in the middle, a three-team possession drill, then crossing and finishing. He will start Matveï Safonov in goal and Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia out wide, and could then rotate between senior figures, pre-season standouts such as Mayulu, and those little used at the World Cup like Zaïre-Emery and Akliouche.
Around 7,000 PSG fans will fill a complete away section, matching Aston Villa's allocation, roughly a quarter of the stadium. Few were visible in the city on Tuesday amid the peak festival season, but they are expected to flood in on Wednesday in search of fresh excitement.
