Chelsea have been urged by former star Frank Leboeuf to sign Manchester United target Bryan Mbeumo this summer.
The Blues are once again set for a busy summer and have already completed a deal to sign Ipswich striker Liam Delap for £30m, whilst the club are looking for a centre back and right footed attacker.
Chelsea could look to fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight first team players with a number of squad players surplus to requirements.
There’s set to be movement in the wide areas after it was confirmed on Tuesday Jadon Sancho had left the club, whilst the Blues are reportedly open to offers for Noni Madueke.
Estevao Willian will arrive after the Club World Cup, whilst Chelsea have identified Jamie Gittens as a top target to fill the left wing role.

However, former Blue Leboeuf believes Chelsea should be looking to hijack to Man United’s move for Brentford star Mbeumo.
“The expectation is going to be big and the pressure will be huge, hopefully it’s going to work but we won’t know until he gets there and starts playing games,” Leboeuf told ESPN when asked about the arrival of Delap.
“I was wondering why Bryan Mbeumo doesn’t want to come to Chelsea. Was it a possibility or not?
“Maybe he knows better but I would have loved to see him at Chelsea and think he would have been very good for the club.”
Mbeumo has indicated he wants to move to Old Trafford this summer and it’s believed Brentford want a fee of around £50m for the 25-year-old who scored 20 Premier League goals this season.
Whilst a move for Mbeumo appears out of the question the Blues are closing in on a move for Gittens, with negotiations going well according to Fabrizio Romano.

It’s been reported Chelsea have submitted an offer worth £55m for Gittens and the Blues are said to be in pole position for the England under-21 international.
Gittens scored 12 goals for Dortmund last season as they recovered from a poor start to qualify for the Champions League, and he could make his Chelsea debut at the Club World Cup if all goes to plan.
