Wrexham beat Ipswich Town 5-3 at the Cae Ras to rise from seventh to sixth in the Championship, finishing strongly after falling behind just after the restart.

Kieffer Moore struck in the sixth minute after Josh Windass' flick created space. Anis Mehmeti levelled (20.), before Windass restored the lead with a close-range header (37.). Ivan Azon Monzon then drilled in during first half stoppage time to send the sides level at the interval.

After the restart, Cédric Kipre's low drive put the Tractor Boys ahead (47.). George Thomason equalised with a precise finish (66.), restoring momentum for the hosts.

Phil Parkinson's changes told. Callum Doyle glanced in from Lewis O'Brien's corner (75.), and substitute Nathan Broadhead sealed it from O'Brien's threaded pass (86.). O'Brien finished with two assists, while Moore and Windass each produced a goal and an assist.

Christian Walton made five saves for the Tractor Boys but could not stem the late flow. Wrexham carried persistent threat, hitting 10 shots on target from 17 attempts.

Next, Wrexham host Portsmouth. The Tractor Boys visit Watford.
