Wrexham host Norwich City in the Championship on Saturday, 17 January 2026 at the Cae Ras, with the hosts eyeing the play-off places and the visitors trying to climb away from the relegation zone.

Wrexham are ninth on 40 points while Norwich City are 22nd with 24. The reverse fixture in September finished 3-2 to Wrexham at Carrow Road.

Wrexham arrive on four straight league wins, backed up by a penalty shoot-out victory over Nottingham Forest after a 3-3 draw in the FA Cup. The Canaries have alternated league wins and losses across their past four, winning at Queens Park Rangers before losing to Stoke City.

Phil Parkinson's side list injuries to Matty James, Danny Ward, Eliott Lee, Ryan Hardie, Oliver Rathbone, Sam Smith, Lewis Brunt, Max Cleworth and Aaron James. The visitors are without Shane Duffy, Jeffrey Schlupp, Mirko Topić, Amankwah Forson, Ante Crnac and Gabriel Forsyth.

Kieffer Moore leads the Wrexham threat with 10 league goals. Their delivery could matter too, with nine headed goals and 21.00% cross accuracy hinting at an aerial route. With 52% possession and 80.32% pass completion this season, the Canaries may look to build through midfield and feed Jovon Makama, on nine league goals, or Josh Sargent, on seven.

A home win would move Wrexham to 43 points and could push them into the play-off places. A victory for the Canaries would take them to 27 points and could move them out of the relegation zone depending on other results.
