Wrexham begin their second successive Championship season away at Cardiff City at 8pm on Monday 17 August, live on Sky Sports. Further early away days follow at Millwall on 2 September, Swansea City on 5 September and West Ham United on 12 September.
According to NY Times, Watford are the first visitors to The Racecourse Ground on 22 August, with Birmingham City a week later. Burnley and Southampton also head to north Wales before the first international break, Southampton on 19 September and likely to carry extra edge after the Spygate saga.
There will be two international breaks in the autumn, the first lasting three weeks. Christmas looks kinder on travel, with a Boxing Day trip to Stoke City followed by home games against Blackburn Rovers on 29 December and Bolton Wanderers on 1 January. There are no Easter fixtures because Good Friday, 26 March, falls within the third and final international break.
West Ham visit north Wales on 13 February, Cardiff come to Wrexham on 6 March and Swansea follow on 10 April. The regular season ends at home to Bristol City on 1 May. Lengthy midweek trips also include Bristol City on 24 November, Middlesbrough on 27 January and Watford on 3 March.
For the first time, the teams finishing seventh and eighth will join those in third to sixth in the play-offs. Wrexham finished seventh last season, the highest in their history. All fixtures are subject to change.
