Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has been named La Liga's Coach of the Month for August after guiding his team to a perfect start in the new season.
Under his leadership, Real Madrid secured victories in all three of their opening matches, defeating Osasuna (1-0), Real Oviedo (3-0), and Mallorca (2-1). This impressive run has placed the club at the top of the league standings.
Alonso prevailed over other shortlisted candidates for the award, including Athletic's Ernesto Valverde and Espanyol's Manolo González, marking a strong beginning to his tenure as head coach.
