New Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has on Monday provided his take on the recent speculation surrounding the future of Blancos star Rodrygo.
This, of course, comes amid mounting rumours linking the Brazilian with a move away from Spain’s capital.

Monday marked the big day when it comes to Alonso’s unveiling at Real Madrid, officially presented by the club in front of the expectant media.
The former Bayer Leverkusen boss, in turn, fielded questions on a whole host of topics during his first press conference back in his home country.
And as alluded to above, one such query surrounded the possibility of Rodrygo moving on this summer.
Amid reports of Premier League giants Arsenal pushing hard for his attacking star’s signature, Alonso was quick to throw his full backing behind Rodrygo, in assuring:
“Rodrygo? He is a Real Madrid player. He is a spectacular player and we will need him.”
