The Dutch federation announced on Wednesday, via its social media channels, that former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez has been appointed Netherlands head coach, replacing Ronald Koeman.
Koeman resigned after the World Cup.

Xavi, 46, guided Barcelona to the Spanish title in 2023.
He has signed a contract running to the 2030 World Cup.
The tournament will be held in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with some matches in Latin America.
