Xavi shows Barcelona loyalty by rejecting several La Liga job offers | OneFootball

Former Barcelona star and manager Xavi Hernández has rejected offers to take up the reins at a number of Spanish clubs.

That’s according to Marca, who highlight the 45-year-old’s ongoing loyalty to the Blaugrana as the key reason for as much.

Tactician Xavi currently finds himself out of work.

In fact, the ex-midfielder has not taken his place on the bench at any club since being sent on his way by Barcelona over 12 months ago.

This comes despite links with a whole host of clubs across Spain and beyond.

And as alluded to above, this week, an insight into precisely why Xavi has not yet managed to find for himself a new project has been provided.

As revealed by Marca, several La Liga clubs previously made contact with Xavi’s entourage, to gauge his interest in a potential joining of forces.

Each, however, were politely informed that the Catalan does not intend to manage any other club in his home country, out of respect to Barcelona.
