FC Barcelona and Club Brugge fought hard and ended up sharing the spoils. With both teams winning a point each after a hard-fought game, this was not exactly the best result that La Blaugrana could have ended up with nor was it the worst.

A scintillating 3-3 draw, it saw goals from Ferran Torres, Lamine Yamal, and an own goal from a Club Brugge player find the back of the net. However, each player delivered a different kind of performance.

Player Ratings:

Wojciech Szczesny: 5.0

For starters, he should not have conceded the first goal that he did. Moreover, throughout the game, his first touches and ball control were simply horrendous. He was extremely fortunate not to have blundered away a fourth goal as well.

Jules Kounde: 6.5

Tried to support Lamine Yamal and other teammates as much as possible, but this was yet again a subpar performance from Jules Kounde. He desperately needs to get sharper.

Ronald Araujo: 6.0

Did well initially to not let Club Brugge get comfortable, but once the Belgian side fully clicked, almost every attack simply cut through Barça’s defense with precision and ease.

Eric Garcia: 6.5

Almost scored an insane goal from distance but he definitely also had defensive issues that were reflected across the Barça backline tonight.

Alejandro Balde: 6.0

Almost always got caught in an awkward position by the opposition and it seemed to be too easy for them to exploit Barça’s left flank. Did well going forward, but his defensive vulnerabilities were far more concerning.

Marc Casado: 6.5

Did well enough defensively but lacked any real bite with his passes or creativity. Not his best performance by any means, but a decent one regardless from the Barcelona midfielder.

Frenkie de Jong: 7.0

Steady performance in midfield, and always facilitated his teammates. However, he could not effectively break through the resilient Club Brugge structure either.

Lamine Yamal: 9.0

Brilliant performance from Lamine Yamal, who was heavily involved in every single goal that Barça scored. His pass initiated the first goal, his Messi-esque run directly was the second goal, and his deflected cross gave Barça their third goal.

Fermin Lopez: 8.0

The midfielder had great intensity initially, and it even allowed him to deliver a great assist. However, as the game progressed, his decision-making began to deteriorate for some reason. Still, he was heavily involved in Yamal’s goal and provided the assist for it as well.

Marcus Rashford: 6.0

The English winger had a complicated game, and was not able to make the impact that he would have liked to make.

Ferran Torres: 6.5

Scored the first goal for Barcelona but was quite ineffective apart from that. His pressing was sluggish and he just seemed lazy apart from that as well.

Dani Olmo: 6.0

Tried to make an impact through the middle but was ultimately ineffective.

Robert Lewandowski: 5.0

Barely involved at all after coming on for Ferran Torres.

Roony Bardghji: N/A

Not enough time or influence on the field to warrant a rating.

Pau Cubarsi: N/A

Not enough time or influence on the field to warrant a rating.

Gerard Martin: N/A

Not enough time or influence on the field to warrant a rating.
