Yan Diomandé returns to RB Leipzig training | OneFootball

RB Leipzig have confirmed that Yan Diomandé has returned to training following his recent illness. The 19-year-old winger was pictured back on the pitch on Wednesday, bringing an end to the absence that kept him out of Leipzig’s Austrian training camp.

As previously reported, Diomandé’s absence came amid ongoing negotiations concerning a potential move to Real Madrid. Leipzig managing director Marcel Schäfer nevertheless strssed that the club accepted the player’s explanation and expected him to report for duty once healthy.

Diomandé’s return does not necessarily signal an end to the transfer discussions. Schäfer previously acknowledged that interest from several major clubs and the surrounding speculation had occupied the Cote d’Ivoire international.

For the time being, however, Diomandé is once again working with the Leipzig squad as the club continue their preseason preparations. No agreement with Real Madrid has yet been officially announced.
