Yannick Cahuzac faces packed schedule as RC Lens head coach during BEPF course | OneFootball

Yannick Cahuzac has been named RC Lens head coach while completing his BEPF this season, leaving him with a packed schedule.

According to L'Équipe, the club have discussed adjustments with the FFF, yet the coach must miss several days each month for classes. The next BEPF block coincides with the international break, so he can attend his fourth session in Sochaux next week, Monday evening to Thursday midday, focused on communication.

The following module, scheduled for 13-15 October at Clairefontaine, clashes with the Champions League calendar, with Lens v Sporting CP on 13 October at 18.45. He should be allowed to follow that day remotely as an exception.

In total he must complete 12 sessions, and will be away on 17-19 November in Rodez, 15-17 December and 19-21 January at Clairefontaine, 16-18 February in Toulouse, 23-25 March in Lyon, 20-22 April in Troyes, and 18-21 May at Clairefontaine.

The February block falls during the Champions League play-off first leg, and could again clash with Cahuzac’s sporting calendar if Racing qualify.

He must also complete a week abroad and submit a thesis in the spring. In recent years, Lilian Nalis, formerly an assistant at Lens and now at Rennes, and Julien Lachuer, formerly an assistant at Brest and now number one, completed the BEPF while in post in the Champions League, though neither was head coach.
