Yassine Benhattab close to Montpellier move

Nantes attacking midfielder Yassine Benhattab, 23, is close to joining Montpellier, according to L'Équipe.

The two clubs are understood to have agreed a fee of around one million euros.

Benhattab spent the second half of last season on loan at Reims in Ligue 2, after 10 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes.

He has not been part of the Nantes first-team group for some time.

Before that, he played for Aubagne, where he was named National player of the season in 2024-25.
