The latest target for the Milan strike force is Yusuf Yazici, a free agent who already worked with Paulo Fonseca at LOSC and scored a hat-trick against the Rossoneri.
With Olivier Giroud heading to LAFC, they are short on strikers and have officially let go of Joshua Zirkzee after refusing to pay the €15m commission requested by his agent, so the Bologna man is expected to join Manchester United instead.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they are turning their attention towards Yazici, who has the advantage of being a free agent after his contract with Lille ran down.
He played with new Milan coach Fonseca at the French club and last season scored 12 goals with four assists in 42 appearances.
The Turkey international is 27 years old and already made his mark against Milan by scoring a hat-trick for Lille at San Siro in the Europa League in November 2020.
Although he can play as a centre-forward, for the most part Yazici is a trequartista or a right-sided attacking winger.
There is already interest from Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
