Yeray shares message with Athletic team-mates before return to training

Yeray Álvarez will rejoin Athletic training next Monday after eight months away following a doping case. According to El Correo, he has shared an audio message with team-mates ahead of his return.

His suspension is 10 months, so he cannot play until the second of April.

In the clip, the Barakaldo footballer greeted the group and said he was starting his final week, with a test the next day to check his legs and overall fitness.

He said he was eager to be back with everyone and sent a warm embrace to the team.

The audio was sent to his team-mates this week.
