Yeremay Hernández dreams of "playing for Barça or Real"

Yeremay Hernández, the 22-year-old winger currently shining for Deportivo La Coruña, opened up in an interview with Cadena SER. He dreams of one day making a move to one of Spain’s footballing giants: FC Barcelona or Real Madrid.

The player, who came through Real Madrid’s youth academy between 2015 and 2017, is enjoying an impressive season with Deportivo, who currently sit second in the league. The club is just two points off the top spot and is fighting hard for promotion. Hernández is not shy about his ambitions:

I really love La Liga, it’s our league. I admire clubs like Barça and Real. These are top-level teams and I would truly love to play for them one day. That’s my dream. For now, I’m staying focused on Deportivo.

This summer, both Chelsea and Como had already shown interest in the player, who has made 13 appearances this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
