According to ExpressAndStar.com, Yerson Mosquera has appealed for Wolves fans to keep faith after loud boos greeted full time against Sunderland, while suggesting the group want to push on next season.
Wolves fell behind early at Molineux, then Sunderland were reduced to 10 when Dan Ballard was sent off for pulling Tolu Arokodare’s hair. Santi Bueno levelled in the second half with a header.
Despite chances to go ahead, frustration grew. Substitutions were booed and anger was directed at the players and manager Rob Edwards at the whistle.
Back from suspension, Mosquera accepted supporters’ frustration but thanked them for travelling and backing the team. He urged them to believe as the squad try to be at their best between now and the end of the season, adding that they want to push up again next term.
He said breaking down 10 men was difficult, with Sunderland sitting compact and central spaces crowded. Mosquera felt Wolves needed to create more from outside areas, noting that, even with quality on the ball, finding the right passes was hard.
