Marc Guiu has revealed he won’t celebrate against former club Barcelona if he scores in the upcoming Champions League clash.
Chelsea host the Spanish giants at Stamford Bridge on November 25th in a huge game, which they ideally need to win after dropping points against Qarabag.
The two sides are level on seven points heading into the game, and a win would really boost either teams chances of finishing in the top eight.
Chelsea and Barcelona have rich history when it comes to playing each other in the Champions League, but this will be the first time they’ve faced off since the 2017/2018 season.
It’s sure to a massive occasion, and one which sees Guiu come up against his former club for the first time since leaving in 2024.
Chelsea signed Guiu for just £5m after they activated the release clause in his contract, but the 19-year-old hasn’t featured much since his arrival.

Guiu scored six goals in seven Conference League appearances last season, whilst his only goal for the Blues this season came in the Champions League against Ajax.
Whether he gets on the pitch against Barcelona remains to be seen, but Guiu has revealed he won’t celebrate if he scores.
“The match against Barça will be the match of my life. It will be very special,” Guiu told Catalunya Radio.
“I keep in touch with Barça players, with some, yes. Mostly with Pau Cubarsi. On the day of the match, I will say something to him to try to make him nervous.
“If I score against Barça, you have to respect the clubs where you have played. If I score against Barça, the joy will be immense, but I think I will not celebrate it.”
The Spain under-21 international has made seven appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season, but hasn’t featured in any match since the defeat to Sunderland.
