According to exclusive information obtained by Africafoot, Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri has made a significant decision regarding his future. The Fenerbahçe striker wishes to leave the Istanbul club as early as the upcoming winter transfer window.

A source close to the player confirms that the Atlas Lions forward is heavily relying on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to showcase his talent and attract substantial offers, particularly from Europe, in order to extricate himself from what has become a burdensome environment in Istanbul.

According to the same source, En-Nesyri has already informed Fenerbahçe's management that he no longer feels comfortable in what he describes as an "electric" climate, due to virulent criticism from a section of the supporters in recent weeks.

A departure now seems inevitable, especially as the Turkish club is reportedly willing to listen to offers closer to the fee paid for his arrival last summer, whereas previous bids had reached up to 40 million euros.

During the last summer transfer window, Al Qadsiah was keen to recruit the Moroccan striker, as exclusively revealed by Africafoot's editorial team. However, Youssef En-Nesyri's desire was to continue his career in Europe.

Ironically, it is at a time when En-Nesyri is having one of his best seasons that his future in Istanbul has grown uncertain. Just last weekend, he was again decisive, securing victory for Fenerbahçe against Rizespor (3-2) with a superb header in the closing minutes of the match.

With 13 league goals and 3 assists, he currently holds second place in the scoring charts, behind Krzysztof Piatek. Additionally, he has contributed 4 goals and one assist in the Europa League, from just eight appearances.
