Tiago Silva was one of the standout players of the match, opening the scoring in the 17th minute with a penalty and setting up Mateus Mide for the second goal. Manchester City still pulled one back through Teddie Lamb in the 73rd minute, but Tcherno Jamanca sealed the final result in the 81st.
