According to L'Équipe, Zack Nani has activated a clause to continue offering free Saudi Pro League coverage on Twitch and YouTube this season, announcing the decision on Friday. He has been the league’s free-to-air streamer for the past year.

Nani signed a two-season arrangement a year ago, with an option to trigger after the first campaign. The streamer, who also holds rights to France Under-21s, confirmed SPL streams will continue on his channels for viewers in France, Belgium and Canada.

While not detailed in his announcement video, he is now likely to focus on the biggest fixture of each matchday. That would align with comments he made in June about scaling back the volume.

He said the nine-month rhythm had been demanding for a multi-activity creator and that he did not see himself broadcasting 80 league matches next year. He wants to concentrate on marquee games and build a more premium format.

Last season’s live discussions with guests were only a taster of his vision for football online, with more scope needed for pre and post-match entertainment. With less volume, he aims to deliver richer shows with surprises and guest appearances to differentiate from television.
