17-year-old Stephan Zagadou scored his first Ligue 1 goal as Le Havre beat Strasbourg 2-1, though he was caught out for the equaliser.
L'Équipe notes that the centre-back showed striking composure in only his third top-flight match, having started at Lens last week, and he blocked several Strasbourg efforts.
Zagadou headed in on 26 minutes. Ismaël Doukouré was sent off on 29 minutes after bringing down Issa Soumaré as he broke through. Strasbourg levelled on 36 minutes when Godo struck after Zagadou failed to clear. Soumaré was denied by Penders on 41 minutes, then made it 2-1 on 54 minutes to end a four-month wait.
Captain Arouna Sangante was flawless at the back and purposeful going forward. Penders pushed away his 19th-minute strike, and he supplied Soumaré for the winner. Cramp forced him off for Gautier Lloris on 79 minutes.
Diego Moreira battled, contesting 27 duels, the most in the match, but won fewer than half. His decision-making faltered and his dribbles rarely came off.
For Le Havre, Fodé Doucouré struggled on his first Ligue 1 start since 30 November on the right of midfield, and made technical errors. He was replaced by Ally Samatta on 64 minutes.
