Zaidu starts as Nigeria cruise past Benin 4-0

Zaidu started and was on the pitch for 74 minutes in Nigeria’s 4-0 win over Benin, in the tenth and final qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup.

The FC Porto left-back’s national team finished their Group C campaign in second place, with 17 points, and will play in the Playoff Tournament that brings together the four best-ranked teams from the African Confederation that did not qualify directly for the final stage of the competition.
