Braga beat Tondela 1-0 at Estádio João Cardoso as Rodrigo Zalazar converted a penalty in the second minute of second half stoppage time, keeping Carlos Vicens' side fifth in Liga Portugal.

In the 41st minute, Joao Moutinho headed against the bar as the visitors cranked up the pressure.

After the restart, Gustaf Lagerbielke received a second yellow and was sent off (82.).

Tondela then had a golden chance, but Hugo Felix Sequeira saw his penalty saved by Lukas Hornicek (86.).

Deep into added time, Gabri Martínez won a spot kick and Zalazar converted from the spot in the second minute of second half stoppage time.

In the closing stages, the hosts forced one more stop, with Milama Ouattara denied by Hornicek in the seventh minute of second half stoppage time.
