The iconic Zdeněk Zeman is now set for a return to management and he is set to be hired by Pescara.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Zeman is returning to the Delfini after five years and at the age of 75. The Abruzzo-based club have made their choice to replace Alberto Colombo and the deal with Zeman is now said to be in the pipeline.
Zeman’s last managerial stint came at Foggia last season but before that, he was managing Pescara. The upcoming stint with the Delfini will be his third stint at the club, with his first coming back in the 2011/12 season. That was when Italian football had witnessed a magical phase at the club, who then had Lorenzo Insigne, Marco Verratti and Ciro Immobile.
Zeman is expected to sign a contract with Pescara till the end of the current season, with the club currently at third in the group C of Serie C but they have won only once in the last five games.
