Zinédine Zidane attends service for Rolland Courbis

Zinédine Zidane was present to honour Rolland Courbis, who died on Monday aged 72.

L'Équipe reports that a mass was held on Wednesday at La Madeleine church in Paris.

Further funeral rites are scheduled for Saturday at Les Réformés in Marseille.

Zidane, who played under Courbis at Bordeaux, joined those paying tribute to his former manager.

Courbis was a prominent figure in French football.
