According to L'Équipe, Zinédine Zidane has given his France squad a day off following the 1-0 win in Belgium, with players required back at Clairefontaine for dinner before training resumes tomorrow.

France edged Belgium on Monday, settling it in the closing minutes, to make it two wins from two under the new head coach.

The group returned to Clairefontaine overnight and have time away from camp until the evening meal at the Centre National du football.

Zidane’s squad are scheduled to be back on the training pitch tomorrow as this first gathering of the Zizou era continues.

Italy provide the next test on Friday at 20:45, the new head coach’s first home match in charge.
