Zinédine Zidane keeps France guessing over Italy line-up | OneFootball

France head coach Zinédine Zidane appeared to mix probable starters and reserves during Thursday’s session at the Stade de France, ahead of France v Italy on Friday at 20:45.

According to L'Équipe, defensive pairings saw Dayot Upamecano alongside Leny Yoro on one side, while Jérémy Jacquet worked with Maxence Lacroix on the other.

In midfield, Adrien Rabiot featured next to Maghnes Akliouche in a drill with nine outfield players. The opposing unit, with 10, included Lucas Da Cunha, Manu Koné and Rayan Cherki.

Up front, Ousmane Dembélé was paired with Michael Olise, while Désiré Doué trained with Bradley Barcola.

Doué later changed bib to join Olise and Dembélé, which could indicate the attacking trio chosen to face Italy on Friday.
