In early summer, between two transatlantic flights in the space of a month, the 54-year-old attended three World Cup matches in person. One was his son Luca’s first for Algeria against Argentina, which ended 0-3. He also watched the final, Spain defeating Lionel Messi’s Argentina 1-0.
