As per VoetbalPrimeur, Hakim Ziyech may soon find a new employer. The former Ajax and FC Twente midfielder left Al-Duhail SC and is now linked with a move to Morocco.

Wydad Casablanca are reportedly set on signing Ziyech, according to Africafoot. “A source close to Hicham Aït Menna, the club’s president, revealed that management wants to sign Ziyech to strengthen the ranks in preparation for the Club World Cup”, it reads.

The 32-year-old is without a club after he left Qatar and can therefore be picked up on a free transfer. At Wydad, he could become a teammate of Nordin Amrabat.

An extra transfer window has been created for the Club World Cup between the 1st and the 10th of June. The Moroccan club, which is active in the Club World Cup, recently made use of it to sign Nordin Amrabat following his brief stint with Hull City. With Wydad, Amrabat will compete against Manchester City, Juventus and Al Ain in the group stage of the competition.
