Zones confirmed for Germinal and Guillermo Brown in Torneo Federal A | OneFootball

The Consejo Federal announced that the zones for the 2026 Torneo Federal A have been set, a key step in organising the nationwide competition.

Formal approval is scheduled for Friday 27 February from 13 at AFA headquarters, with the participating institutions due to attend.

The fixture draw will also be held that day, the definitive format will be considered and the start date, initially Sunday 22 March, is to be ratified.

Zona 4 will feature Germinal, Guillermo Brown, Sol de Mayo, Olimpo, Villa Mitre, Santamarina, Círculo Deportivo, Kimberley and Alvarado, relegated last year.

Zona 1 comprises El Linqueño, Gimnasia y Esgrima de Chivilcoy, Independiente, Douglas Haig, Escobar FC, Defensores de Belgrano de Villa Ramallo, Gimnasia y Esgrima de Concepción del Uruguay, Sportivo Las Parejas, 9 de Julio and Sportivo Belgrano.

Zona 2 includes Juventud Antoniana, Tucumán Central, San Martín de Formosa, Sol de América, Sarmiento de Resistencia, Defensores de Puerto Vilelas, Sarmiento La Banda, Bartolomé Mitre and Boca Unidos.

Zona 3 brings together Cipolletti, Deportivo Rincón, Huracán Las Heras, San Martín de Mendoza, FADEP, Juventud Unida Universitario, Costa Brava, Atenas and Deportivo Argentino.
