Zubeldía hails Flu’s start, confident of progress vs Vasco: 90 mins left

After Fluminense’s defeat to Vasco in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil semifinal this Thursday (11), coach Luis Zubeldía spoke about the goal conceded in the final minute of the match and emphasized that Tricolor played a good first half and will fight for qualification in the next game.

I repeat that it was a balanced match, we were a bit better in the first half and, in the second, they were a bit better. They had chances to score two goals, we scored one… Our performance in the first half was better because we scored a goal and they didn’t manage to. In the second half, they improved. After that, it was balanced and there weren’t many goal chances, except for the last play (Vegetti’s goal). It was a sprint, an accident, a bit of both, with Hércules’ foul on Rayan.
