According to Danish site Bold, Zulte Waregem are interested in bringing Søren Krogh is as a replacement for the recently sacked Sven Vandebroeck. Krogh is currently without a job and is said to be having talks with the Belgian Pro League side this week. With just one game to go in the regular season, Krogh may be taking over a side that finish in the bottom four or just outside of the bottom four and fight it out in play-off two. Even if they end up in the bottom four, they should have enough points to avoid finishing bottom.

Krogh has only had one head coaching job, which was at Odense Boldklub. Krogh took over in 2023/2024 but was unable to keep the side in the Danish Superligaen. However, he was in charge the following season as the side were promoted back to the top flight. At the end of that campaign the club brought in Alexander Zorniger as head coach instead. According to Bold, Krogh did have the option to join Swedish side AIK Stockholm but the move never materialised.
