The player in question? Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Blancos star Tchouaméni was for his part in from the off yesterday evening, as France locked horns with Ukraine in a World Cup qualifying fixture.

And the 25-year-old, fresh off being nominated for Real Madrid Player of the Month for August, only carried forth his recent stretch of fine form.

Tchouaméni’s standout moment came in the form of a defence-splitting assist for club teammate Kylian Mbappé to put France two goals to the good.

His overall performance, though, was so much more.
