10 million euros: Valladolid put price on Ajax target Raul Moro | OneFootball

According to reports from both Dutch and Spanish media, Real Valladolid want around 10 million euros for Ajax target Raul Moro (22).

“There is no full agreement yet,” reports Matteo Moretto, transfer journalist for Spanish outlet Relevo. “But the club from the Netherlands are pushing to come to a formula that meets the expectations of both parties.”

Ajax are reportedly aiming for a loan deal with a (mandatory) option to buy. Up until now, a transfer fee of around six million euros has been consistently mentioned, although Valladolid have a higher value in mind for Moro.

The winger, formerly of Lazio, is under contract until the summer of 2028 and has earned attention from Ajax with three goals and an assist in 17 La Liga appearances this season. He has been a rare bright spark as Valladolid languish at the foot of the table.

The Algemeen Dagblad reported (via VoetbalPrimeur) that Moro has been designated as a ‘top priority’ for Ajax in the winter transfer period:

“Scouting, management and technical staff are convinced. (…) With Moro, Ajax wants to kill two birds with one stone”.

The Spaniard is seen by Ajax as a competitor for Mika Godts, but can also play on the right to relieve Bertrand Traoré. As a result, Steven Berghuis would be deployed deeper in midfield.
