2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers Kick Off

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers kick off with opening matches in Group A on Tuesday at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Group A
Saint Martin vs. Sint Maarten
The first match of the tournament will feature Saint Martin against Sint Maarten. The meeting marks the first-ever between the nations in the U-17 Men’s Qualifiers.
Saint Martin is set for its second participation after making its debut in the 2025 edition. Saint Martin’s historical record stands at two defeats and one victory, with the lone win coming in a 4-1 result against Bonaire.
Sint Maarten is also gearing up for its second appearance in the U-17 Men’s Qualifiers. Sint Maarten suffered defeats in its three encounters in its debut in 2025.
Trinidad and Tobago vs. Barbados
Group A hosts Trinidad and Tobago will face Barbados in the second match of the day.
The occasion marks their second matchup in U-17 Men’s Qualifiers after previously meeting in the Group Stage of the 2023 edition. That encounter resulted in a 1-1 stalemate.
Trinidad and Tobago begins its quest in search of qualifying for a third FIFA U-17 World Cup. The Soca Warriors will look to extend its current seven-match unbeaten streak against Caribbean opponents (4W, 3D).
Barbados begins its campaign in search of advancing past the Group Stage for the first time. The match will be the fourth for Barbados against a Caribbean team in U-17 Men’s Qualifiers, with the Tridents unbeaten thus far (1W, 2D).
