Now back on his feet, the former Parisian still has a shot at heading to the United States. While in Lille for the friendly match against Tunisia, Brazil's head coach Carlo Ancelotti sent a message of hope to Neymar.

"Neymar is on the list of players who could take part in the World Cup. He now has six months to make the final squad and all we have to do is watch him, just like the others, to try not to make mistakes when picking the definitive list. He has recovered from his injury. Now he has six months to play. Technically, the Brazilian league ends on December 7, but after that, he can take a break.
