Leeds United supporters are travelling to Wembley in big numbers as the FA Cup semi-final against historic bitter rivals Chelsea arrives today.

As reported by yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, this is the club’s first FA Cup semi-final since 1987. The winners will face Manchester City in the final at Wembley on Saturday, May 16.

Thousands left Elland Road early, with official coaches and cars heading south. A gallery of 28 images captures the journeys.

Among those pictured were Martin and Ella Collinson setting off from Elland Road. Finley and Danika Arthiur and Brendan Burke travelled from Ireland.

Danny Walsh and his grandson Daley Walsh-Kershaw won the Anton Stach Golden ticket, with Daley to be a mascot at the game.

Also featured were Michael Gummery and his sons Noah and Brad of Shipley, waiting to begin their trip.
