3 Barcelona youngsters impressing coaching staff in pre-season training | OneFootball

A trio of up-and-coming young talents at La Liga giants Barcelona have turned the heads of the club’s coaching staff with their performances in pre-season.

Hansi Flick and co. are of course currently hard at work, amid early preparations for the fast-approaching 2026/27 campaign.

Barca have to date been forced to make do without a whole host of their leading stars in training, owing to their respective efforts at this summer’s World Cup.

This has opened the door for a number of youngsters to step up, afforded the chance to impress with sights on a first-team berth next season.

And as alluded to above, amid these efforts, three such starlets have already done enough to catch the eye…

As per a report from Blaugrana journalist Víctor Navarro, Hansi Flick and co. are ‘very happy’ with the early form showcased by all of Álex González, Ebrima Tunkara and Ibrahim Diarra this summer.

For those not familiar with their names, González and Diarra are both 19-year-old wingers, whilst Tunkara – considered the next potential breakout sensation in Catalunya’s capital – is a 16-year-old attacking midfielder.
