Axel Disasi is attracting interest from sides in the Premier League and Europe with the Frenchman keen to secure a move to get more playing time according to reports.
The January window is now in full swing and Chelsea were expected to have a quiet month, but with injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile and opportunities occurring in the market it’s possible one or two new faces come in.
However, the Blues are predominantly focusing on outgoings to raise funds and create space in the squad for potential new arrivals.
Chelsea have a number of players they are hoping to move on this month, with both Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka told they can leave the club.
Cesare Casadei is expected to leave with the midfielder attracting interest from Italy, whilst Renato Veiga is pushing to join Borussia Dortmund.

Another player who looks like they could be heading to the exit door is Disasi, with the Frenchman set to be left out of the squad for Tuesday’s game against Bournemouth as the Blues look to secure a January exit.
The Frenchman joined in the summer of 2023 for £38.8m from French side Monaco and made 44 appearances under Mauricio Pochettino, but things have been very different under Enzo Maresca.
The 26-year-old has started just four Premier League games and is well down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, whilst former Blue Jason Cundy has been critical of his performances.
Disasi captained the side in the FA Cup win against Morecambe on Saturday and The Athletic have now reported he’s attracting interest from sides in the Premier League and Europe.

The report adds it’s too early to say if the France international will leave permanently or on loan, but Disasi is keen to secure more playing time.
It’s unclear what Chelsea value Disasi at, but they are unlikely to get near what they paid and a loan move to get him playing regularly in an attempt to boost his transfer value could be the best solution.
