50 years since the coup, Club Atlético Colón backs remembrance

Half a century after the coup d’état that marked Argentine history, Club Atlético Colón joined the March 24 commemorations with a message full of institutional symbolism and social commitment. Based on the premise that its history goes beyond sports, the Santa Fe club published a heartfelt reflection on the country’s dark past, contrasting it with the achievements that now shine a light on the institution.

The official message stated: “Behind every star, there was once a very dark sky. Fifty years after the military coup, Club Atlético Colón reaffirms its commitment to Memory, Truth, and Justice.”
