€5m for 50% – Details of Barcelona star’s sale revealed | OneFootball

An insight into the details of the deal which is set to take Pablo Torre from Barcelona to La Liga rivals RCD Mallorca this summer has on Monday been provided.

The name of youngster Torre has of course proven an altogether prominent one in the transfer chatter in Spain over recent weeks.

As much comes after widespread confirmation that the 22-year-old would be allowed to depart the Camp Nou this summer was followed by links with a whole host of clubs from across La Liga and beyond.

Late last week, one such suitor won out in the race for Torre’s signature, in the form of the aforementioned Mallorca.

As confirmed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Bermellones have reached an agreement with their counterparts in Barcelona to bring the midfield starlet in on a permanent basis.

And as alluded to above, on Monday, further details of the operation have been revealed.

The info comes courtesy of COPE, who confirm that:

‘Mallorca will pay approximately €5 million for 50% of the player’s rights.’

With such a formula in place, Barcelona will be able to keep at least some form of control when it comes to Torre’s long-term future.
